Wow! Now if she could only become a "Free Agent" in the dating category. She's my dream girl. Ohwell, no more Glock 18 for her I guess.

And, as I recall, he shoots pretty well too.

Uh, like take a clue from the Open Gun she is shooting, um, let me guess, STI or SVI??? Taran Butler used to be Glock's Bad Boy, but what does he shoot now?

I wonder if with her recent success, she "asked" more from Glock than they were willing to ante up? Only reason I can think of that she would be leaving?
Not that I fault her if that's the case... she's the top female shooter out there right now, AFAIK, and she deserves to be compensated accordingly.

I saw her Glock-less at the USPA Area 6 championship, and my thought was the gun was her own. I would guess she will shoot with the gun that sponsors her.
Remember The First Rule of Dogfights: It's not the plane, it's the pilot. She could pick up a pawn shop beater, put a red dot on it, and beat anybody out there.
I would guess there is a non-compete clause in her contract, so we may not see her with another logo this season.

Rob Latham is getting a bit long in the tooth. He is still one of the best shooters out there, bar none, but adding Jessie to Springfield would be a big deal.
If S&W picked her up, they'd have Julie and Jessie and if I remember seeing scores, Julie G from S&W has beaten Jessie on several occasions.
As long as she doesn't end up shooting for the H & K crowd; God they'd be insufferable if she went there!

???
If she's no longer with Glock, and especially if it was by THEIR choice... don't know how they could stop her.

Yeah, boy! But then again, HK does't take the competition sports seriously.

Sure it could, a contract can have just about any wording and we may not see her wearing colors due to this. Many non-competes I've seen state that you shall not work for a competitor for one year after the termination of employment.

That is typically only enforceable if you leave said company. Not if they let you go. That being said I have no idea where this falls.

Exactly. My guess? Her contract was up, and with her recent successes (she's won all kind of stuff in the last year) she asked for a bump and they said no. So she said "No thanks". Both sides certainly have their choice in that matter.
Joining another gun manufacturer's team at this point is her prerogative... plus I don't see Glock being the type of jerks who'd want to pursue the matter.
And if they did... it would make me second guess my affinity for the company.
But from what I've seen of Glock... first class company all the way around.
For the naysayers... any of you looking to take bets about her shooting for another gun manufacturer before 2010 is out ?

I'm just wondering if there isn't some sort of clause that would keep her from joining another at least for a period of time. Kind of like what Conan O'Brian had when NBC cornholed him. Maybe keep her from joining for a year or something? Saw a Cowboy's episode where she'll shoot upwards of 500-1,000 round a day starting before any major match. With that kind of sponsorship coming from Glock (I'm assuming since I don't recall her ever having an ammo sponsor) they probably had a few points written in somewhere that would keep her from sharpening her skills just to then leave for greener pasture.

The article linked to in the OP specifically says Atlanta Arms & Ammo sponsors her... sounds like it's a separate sponsorship from Glock?

That's what I get for trying to use the memory banks instead of rereading the article! I remembered her using KKM barrels but couldn't recall for the life of my any other sponsor aside from Glock.

Hopefully she gets a good contract with a new company. It was kind of cool to have glock win all the ladies events but I'm sure they will be ok without her.

Randi Rogers has made some impressive improvement over the past couple years, and should continue to do well for GLOCK.

The website for Team Glock has not been updated to reflect her status...
http://www.teamglock.com/teamglk.htm
It still lists her as part of the team.

It might not have been Glocks thinking. I imagine she can write her own ticket.
As far as a non compete, if her deal with Glock expired, then she is probably free and clear. Conan was under a non compete as result of a negotiation to end his contract. His contract was bought out, and in return NBC got a few months non compete. In a lot of right to work states, non compete contracts aren't worth the paper they are written on.
I suspect her deal expired and she wanted something more or different.
But I don't understand how she went from this:(not bad)
To this: (major hottie)

From the rumors I had heard, this was coming from awhile back. It's too bad.

Look for that team glock website to be updated in about a year
She's a good shooter and I wish her success for another sponsor. I always laugh when I read an article about her - it always seems to mention her husband in the article without fail.
