Scored a P7M8 for <$1,000
At the risk f screwing up the deal, I scored a P7M8 tonight for under $1000. The sidearm looks to be in excellent shape, no warnings or mill markings and extra mags to boot.
Been watching and waiting for some time now. Hope the seller holds up his end.

If you get it, never sell it!
A thousand dollar P7M8 will never cross your path again.

Hence the qualification I put in my original post.
The usps MO is on the way and the sidearm should be on its way to me in a few days.

I think if you are willing to live with a "less than perfect" P7M8, you can find them under $1000 without much trouble. I have two, neither one was more than $900. Then again, they aren't perfect, one was refinished in duracoat, the other had a bit of holster wear and minor flash rusting (it's being refinished in NP3 as we speak!).
Not to say you didn't get a great deal. Buy ammo and shoot the hell out of it!

I have been looking for some time now and haven't seen an M8 for less than $1300. Most of those on the lower price level had 1 or 2 mags max and were just decent condition. Looks to me like most of the M8s now are running mid-teens to upper teens for good condition and extra mags etc.
Let me know where I can get another M8 for under a thousand and I will probably buy it right away.

Received the M8 today and it's in very good shape. The gun was $900, shipping and insurance $22 and FFL transfer of $5.
I hope to get out this afternoon and try it out.
I am very pleased to say the least.
