There will be no lubricant in the firing pin channel from the factory.
You can remove it by using a small screw to capture it and pull it out. Once you do this you should replace the channel liner. Why would you want to remove it?
It may function without the liner, but won't be reliable.
Leave it in there and just run a swab in to clean it.
