Wait for a GA FL?
How long has everyone had to wait for their Georgia Fireams License?
I went in last week after having let my old license expire a few months ago. The clerk told me it was taking up to 3 months?!
Something about the GBI and some other group fighting with each other about the process?

I guess it would depend on your county. My last renewal in Forsyth County took less than 2 weeks.

I'm in Gwinnett. In the past they have processed quickly, but that was over 5 years ago.

The last that I heard was that Gwinnett was only running a few weeks.

I had a 4 or 5 week delay between my visit to the probate court and my trip to have the fingerprints recorded. It took less than two weeks to receive the permit after the fingerprinting. Not too bad.

I applied for my permit on Friday, May 30th. Got it in the mail Saturday, June 12. Still looks like 14 days with Cobb County... My wife had the same experience last year. 14 days.
Let it be known that in GA when renewing now, you have to complete the entire process, just like a new applicant.
