G20 and interchangeable barrels?
Hello,
I have a G20 and was wondering what barrels I could drop in without having to change anything? Slides, Springs, Mags, etc. Thanks.

For my M20 I have,
Bar-Sto, Std in 10mm
Lone Wolf, 6in in 10mm
Lone Wolf, Std in 9x25 Dillon
KKM, Std in .40 S&W
Storm Lake, 5.3in Ported in 357sig
All these barrels were drop in and use the original spring and mags. I get awesome accuracy out of the Bar-Sto, and KKM. Decent accuracy out of the LWD barrels, and fair accuracy out of the Storm lake. All in all, I have more money in the barrels than I do the gun!

I have 6" LWD 10mm, .357 and .40. There's a .38S, but I asked about 7.62x25, and the answer in no...
Versatile guns are great, ain't they?

A 7.62x25 barrel would be sweet.

Big plus one on the 76.2x 25. I used to have a tokarov man that round is a nice shooting fast round. The 20/29 would be a perfect platform for it.

I can hit beer cans at 50'... plenty good! I don't think an expensive, custom fit barrel could do any more for me.

SOOOOO correct... but too bad. JR says OAL of the round kills the possibility.

I had a KKM .40s&w conversion barrel for my first G-20, worked slick with no other changes, worked just fine with a 20# recoil spring too. Accuracy was better with the G-20/.40 conversion than it was with a stock G-35.
Recoil was smooth and soft too.
As soon as finances allow, I'm buying another KKM .40 barrel for my new to me G-20.
I was very impressed with KKM's quality and accuracy.

I'd wondered if the OAL wasn't too long. Figured if it was a viable option it would happened by now with all the cheap ammo out there. It coulda been a contender.

I've got both a .40 and a .38 Super barrel for my G20. The .38S is fun, but the mags can be a problem. I've got modified mags reliably loading 6 rounds, I shoot it in revolver friendly competition so it works for me.
The .40 has been flawless. I would like a .357 barrel too, but I have a G31, so its not like I 'need' it. :D
