I'm afraid not. A reliable .380 is certainly better than no gun at all, and a micro-size .380 allows some people to be armed in situations where they feel they just can't conceal something larger. However, some of today's subcompact 9mms are as small or smaller than .380s of yesteryear, and modern 9mm Parabellum ammunition is definitely working out well in the field. I would urge you to look at a flat little 9mm such as the Kahr PM9, Kel-Tec PF9, Taurus Slim, Walther PPS, etc.
