1987, Ft. McClellan... E Company, 795th MP Battalion. It was OSUT, starting in April and ending in July. The thing I remember the most coming from out west was the humidity..... and what a wet bulb was.

I've lived in New England all my life and still wasn't prepared for the kinda cold that winter brings there. Beautiful in the 2 month long warm season though

I was in Ft. Leonard Wood in 1971 C 4 3, AIT, same place, water purificiation,
my daughters graduating Basic Training tomorrow at FT. Sill, Ok. Fox Battery, I-40 Falcons,
then she goes to FT. Sam Houston for AIT, tomorrow night , field medic

Echo Co. 9/2 ... Harmony Church...
Drove by Benning a few weeks ago and all of the old Harmony Church has been demolished... they were building a lot of new stuff there... though I don't know what.

I'm at Fort Sill now... home on holiday block leave. So far, it's not bad. It is pretty dang cold though. It was 16 degrees during our first APFT.
