1976 Fort Dix C-5-3 Fort ding-a-ling they called it back then. July and August. Fort McClellan for AIT was much more civilized. I am proud I was at Dix,though....

I only saw one other who was at Ft. Bliss, El Paso, TX. I was there Aug - Oct '85.
I was there ~15 years later and drove around looking for my company area... it didn't look much different....

Benning School for Wayward Boys...Aug - Nov 87 E/7/1 (changed to Regimental affiliation during AIT and ended up being E/2/19) schooled as a "11B(et-you-didn't-know-the-infantry-was-like-this)

I was in-processed here for 1 week in 1984 before going to Benning for Infantry OSUT. When I first got back I went to the Reception Station and it's STILL the same. Ate lunch in the same DFAC.
I'm 19 months away from retiring and will out-process from here. How sentimental will that be? Hahahaha.
