Potential Recoil Spring Change

My G17 Gen3 runs a LW stainless rod/17lb ISMI flat spring assembly.Gun runs 100% with all factory ammo and reloads.Shoot mostly my range reloads (115gr Hornady XTP) loaded to 140PF.Brass tossed to the right
6-8 feet.No undue brass stress measurable or visual.Sounds normal right. For some unfounded reason going back to 1911 days,I feel I should be running an 18# spring.

Your thoughts please.

Best,
Don

Glock Inc issues all their full size firearms 17,17L,18,20,21,22,24,31,34,35,37 with 17lb recoil springs. Looking the list over you will notice a wide range of power in each model.
Yah sure you can change your spring weight. It may even be beneficial. When you decide to make a move you should consider a stainless guide rod and ISMI springs http://www.lonewolfdist.com/Search.aspx?TERM=lwd-gr
