Hello,
I'm not sure if this is in the correct section or if I should ask in the night vision section. Anyway, I just purchased a Glock 30SF for my CCW when I'm working in Florida. I'm going to add a set of the Truglo Tritium Fiber optic sights, and am also interested in adding a light to the rail. A friend who is Army SF suggested getting a light with a strobe option as well. Would you suggest a light/ laser combo, or does the light/ strobe seem like a better option? Any recommendations on particular units?

strobing light is one of those things that needs to be practiced. I dont mean just dry practice with the lights off at your house but live fire at the range. Also your eye needs to get used to a limited sight picture and how movement is perceived during strobing. The USSOCOM guys practice this skill till its a fine art. I would reccomend reading some of Ken Goods articles on strobing light he is one of the pioneers and probably the best subject matter expert on strobing light and light use in general.
