I've had one for about a month. I like it so far. The blade is kind of thin but it holds an edge.

I guess I should have added some more stuff to the first post. The clip can be set up for tip up or tip down for right or left handed carry. The handle does fill the hand well and doesn't get slippery when wet. The blade is thin compared to other rat knifes but it slices very well. Even though it's made in Taiwan the fit and finish is good and it locks up tight. The blade is AUS-8. I hope this helps it's a good knife for the money

I am blown away at the quality of a Taiwan-made, cheapo folder with marginally decent steel.

I beat the crap out of mine at work every day. No complaints. Holds an edge alright, but is super easy to sharpen. The toughest folder out there in this price range, IMO.

junk.

You were smart getting the Cara Cara. Check out their 'Wings' model, too. Great last ditch SHTF lightweight.

I'm sure that the Cara Care will suit your needs just fine.

Even they are Chinese, people report good things.

Still, if you have a spare 25 bucks laying around, the Rat-1 is being discontinued and really is the best buy out there right now. Beats the crap out of most other Taiwan made folders.
