Got the Mil-spec
Well a couple of days ago I posted a public thank you to Fire_medic for helping me out with finding a 9mm Mil-spec. I picked it up from my ffl today. Here is a crappy cell-phone pic of it. It is a very nice looking gun. It s blued ,not parkerized like the new Mil-specs. I bought it to use as a base for a custom gun, but it is so nice I am having second thoughts !

Congrats brother. It is a nice gun. I almost set it aside for myself.

I have a blued 1988 Mil-Spec 9mm that I am very proud to own. Once I get a set of grips on it thast are correct for it, I am leaving it alone. It is too nice to screw up.

Here is my 9x19 Mil-Spec that recently came back from SA customer service. It is 1991 production and was factory parkerized. My plan is to use it as a base for a custom.

Congrats!
It looks nice but I bet if you do send it off for a custom build you wouldn't regret it.

Very nice pistol.
I must dig this one I guess as I will be on market for nice, basic 1911 soon.
I was thinking Colt, but maybe...
On the website it looks...well, not so good IMO (for whatever reason).
