biking for endurance maghapon sa matches
plyometrics for bursts of speed
forward, lateral, pabalik speedwork drills for speed

o kaya mag crosstrain ka sa basketball, tennis, badminbton , patintaero any sport that makes you sprint, stop or change drection ng mabilis

anyway , you need a little endurance and devlop your fast twitch maskels

Wichisway, you should stay away from long distance running
4 years of triathlon , nawala sprint ko

I agree with master allegra. try to develop first your endurance because if you get tried easily it will have a significant effect on your breathing pattern. As you catch up you breath after a five meter sprint towards the target you will have a hard time looking for the sight of your gun. This is caused by the rapid expansion and elevation of your rib cage.......... I'l stop from here I think im getting too technical already. peace

And I thought cross training only required apart from exercising eye-hand coordination but develop trigger finger strength...:-)

5 shots, 25m from the draw in 4 sec
If you can do it all A's , you're a blackbelt

there's a reason why I like this drill ( other than I suck at it ), pero it has nothing to do with shooting long distances but more on learning to keep your #$%$^ eye on the sights
Walang mga chambang patama sa 25m, you have to earn all 5 shots

btw, I got this drill from TGO
Plus you're only allowed 30 rounds for this drill para bawat putok seryoso
Too many ammo, lalandiin lang w/c ruins the point of the exercise

and yes, it's basic and it's boring
kahit ako nga di ko ginagawa yan e haha

Just remember Jordan won games w/ jumpshots
bihira sa mga fancy lay ups at dunks

Correction - did i say to keep your #$%^ eyes on the sights?
Sensei BE would be dispaointed
Ang correct pala , is "to make sure you see what you need to see to make the shot"

btw, dont forget to call your shots
doesnt matter if you missed as long as you know you did , and which shot it was
it meant you were lookin at what you needed to look at , even if you missed hehe

sawa nako sa shooting
MMA naman!

pahabol ulit haha -

a common feedback sa drill nato sa mga dabarkads, they complain bumagal daw putok nila sa malapit at magkakatabing targets
Kaso they didnt check kung bumagal ba talaga sila, or they just THOUGHT bumagal sila kasi they were now SEEING something instead of just pointing the gun at the target

ewan

me and mtho practiced this last saturday, pero instead of just one target, we had 4. They were placed from 20 to 30 meters aways, and different heights as well. I think it paid dividends right away, I shot well at the match the next day
