ok ive got a sig556 and im looking to run a single point sling .
has anyone done this?
and can i use the same equipment as an ar style rifle?
just to be clear im talking about the metal backing plate .
any help would be great
dont wanna start spending money on items i cant use.

I use this on my 556 pistol a 5.11 sling and used to use it on AR. I think you need a rear plate ring like this to use it.
