Wilson 9mm/38Super CQB
I finally received my CQB with both a 9MM and 38Super barrel. Both calibers are proving to be both reliable and quite accurate. I have pretty much consolidated all my handguns to 9mm, however I have kept a TRS for 45acp fodder. Any other 9mm 1911 shooters out there? I'm in the process of working up loads for my Wilson. I have a couple pounds of N320 and a few K MG 124gr FMJ boolits.
My CQB started out as a 38Super CQB that I won at auction on GunBroker. The pistol was a NIB 2004 build. Upon receiving the CQB and verifying it was indeed new I sent it off to Wilson. I had a 9mm barrel fit, gold bead front sight with plain black boot cut rear sight and an extra extractor fit. I received it back from Wilson in about 4 weeks. I have had it to the range 3 times now and have yet to have a malfunction in either configuration. I did my homework before purchasing a 9mm 1911 as I have heard horror stories regarding getting them to reliably run. Some run great from the factory and some not so great. However every Wilson owner I have spoken to or corresponded with on several forums had nothing but praise.

I'll take some photo's today but will need to e-mail them to someone to post. I'm about as computer illiterate as can be and my 10 yr old is away for the weekend.

I know, my other half is back from Europe with all the cameras so I need to get on the ball. When my RRA build comes in I'm sure I'll have a fire lit under me.

Cool.
I know you don't like taking pics, but I'm looking forward to some great shots.
I was looking at RRA for my first AR build as well. We'll see. I've handled quite a few of them.

Here's mine. Slide and barrel are with Chuck now getting a flush crown job. Should have them back this week along with some Horned Lizards from LD.

you can't be a 9mm 1911 shooter yet, since you haven't even fired that one yet
I haven't had an issue with my 9mm 1911's. might build a longslide 9mm 1911.

It's not an RRA AR.... it's a 1911. RRA ARs aren't my fav.... kind of the Kimber of ARs IMO.

Getting ready for a pistol / carbine class at my club this coming October so I just got a Stag 2L (lefty) a few weeks ago. It's not a high end AR but more than sufficient for 3-Gun shoots.
...with an Eotech red dot

Even better yet.
I love RRA 1911s. I've always said their 1911s the best things they have done. Their ARs are mid-pack. Of course, that's all I'm looking for in an AR.
