Hornaday 75 gr A-max?

Anyone shooting these in a AR15 platform? I have a Colt AR15 HBAR 20"
1-7 twist and I like to give these a try to see how they shoot for LR target an yote round! Been shooting 55 gr bullets but I know the twist rate for this is made for the heavier bullets ! I bought a good selection 60gr V-max, 69 Seiria HPBT's, 75 gr Hornadays HPBTs and the 75 gr Amax.

The 75 Amax has a very long ogive so they aren't the best thing to shoot in a chamber with a long lead(throat) like the 5.56. The good thing is they are cheap so why not give it a try.
I have a 6.8 necked down to .224 with a short throat designed just for the 75 Amax and Berger and can get 1/4" groups so the bullets are good, just never tried them in 5.56 chamber.
The 75gr Hornady Match shoots great almost duplicate of a 77SMK.

Thanks for the reply- I've been told I have to shoot the A-max singlely in my AR! Bummer!

I guess that will be fine for target not so good for yote hunting! I shot some of the 75 gr HPBT's today and they were perfect and really shined in the Colt!

Now I just got to tweek the load ! I wasn't too impressed with the 69 gr SIE HPBT's !
