PM9 barrel peening question
I'm looking to buy a used PM9. According to Kahr, it was manufactured on 5/9/2006. I recall there were issues with barrel peening in PM9s, but I don't remember exactly when this occurred. Does anyone know the date range/serial number range of the affected guns? Is there anything I should look for on the PM9?

I don't know the answer, but Kahr customer service might be able to answer the question.

When I called, they could not give me a serial number range. I thought I saw a thread about it here a few years ago, but for some reason I cannot find it.

Not a real helpful answer.

Dottie is telling people that PM9's with serial number "VC2xxx" and higher have been redesigned to prevent peening. If yours is later, then don't worry, be happy...
|
The PM9 I am looking at is VC32xx, so I should be OK.
Thanks, Cowart
