Trying to find the age of my Sig P230

I just picked up a nice P230sl this weekend. And after a little research I found they stopped making them 14 years ago. I was wondering if theres a place where I can find when it was made, sorta like the list we have here for Glocks.

Paid $424 OTD for it and then another $20 to add the Hogue grip.

Are there proof marks similar to these anywhere on the gun?

The SS P230/232 are the best looking pistols of all-IMHO.

I have to agree. I wish they were chambered in something a little larger. 9mm at least!

Congrats on the 230sl , it looks great . I was never fond of the rubber pistol grips on a carry pistol due to sticking to my clothes.

That's why many prefer KN Nill grips.

Congrats on your 230. You got it at a good time as the 380 ammo is finally showing up again...
