Sig's new P229 ??

Someone please help me remember:

Isn't Sig coming out with a new P229? It has a smaller overall outline, smaller reset, higher grip and some other new features >?

What is the nomenclature of this model? I thought it was the P229E but I think the E is for Equinox verison.

And, is it available yet?

Whoop - did a little research, its the E2 version.

Does anyone know if its available?

I don't believe it is, I think at this time the only E2 available is the P226 in 9mm

If SIG does come out with a new P229, hopefully they'll make it so that the frame rails don't develop gouges that go down to the bare metal.....like mine.
