S/S guide rod and 15# spring

Greetings, JR! I read this comment in a GT thread and would liketo hear your opinion:

"Here's an idea, get a ss guide rod and a 15# recoil spring, these two will reduce the G23 muzzle flip and felt recoil and may just improve your follow up second shot timing."

Thanks!

Actually the reduced recoil spring weight works best with reduced power loads.
Most our customers prefer the 20lb recoil spring on the G23 pistol.
Lets face it, springs are about $9 so trying out a few different weights will never break the bank.
Take a look here for GR & springs http://www.lonewolfdist.com/Search.aspx?TERM=lwd-gr
FYI: The G23 uses GLC springs!

Greetings, JR!

I just bought the LWD 40S&W 2-Port Barrel for my Glock 23. Would you recommend replacing my factory guide rod/spring with the LWD-GRA1923? (It comes with an 18lb spring, though, and you said most of your customers prefer the 20lb spring for their G23).

Thanks.
