10mm Beretta
Anyone on here ever shoot or own one of these? I am looking for a little constructive feedback. My friend here at work is looking to buy one.

One person on the 10mm Talk forum has converted a 96 from .40S&W to 10mm - but not aware of any factory Beretta in 10mm.

Never heard of one, and a conversion would be a waste of time, money & talent.
There are a lot of GOOD 10MM's out there, why waste time with an inferior one ?
uncle albert
now an H&K MP10, THAT would be cool !

I haven't followed the guy on YouTube as I'm not interested in his conversion, but I don't think he ever licked the problem with finding a way to put a 10MM in a .40 magazine. The USP in 40 I've read about used STI Magazines that did fit the frame of the H&K and would accept 10MM ammo.

In the Beretta example that I am familiar with -- the builder had to alter the frame of the pistol itself to accept magazines that would take the 10mm cartridges. It read as if it was a very involved conversion.
The two different conversions (Mauser M2 and AMT BackUp) I completed involved only removing magazine spacers and reaming the chambers -- very easy conversions.

Having read most firearms related literature in the past 28 years, I can assure you, Beretta never released a 10mm Auto pistol onto the market....
Next question....

I also have researched 10mm to death. There is no beretta 10mm from the factory.

There are way to many 10mm's from manufaturers that are great that it would be a waste of time and money to invest to convert a Beretta.

Tangfolio, which once was part of Beretta, makes 10mm pistols.

Really? I wish there were more. As far as good ones: Glock 20, EAA Witness, and a few various 1911 pattern guns. I LOVE the 10mm and the last thing I'd ever say is that there are too many good ones to choose from.
