My new Kimber Custom II

So I picked this up used recently and made a couple changes to personalize it. I went from the slim VZ grip to the Kimber grips shown, magwell came on it when purchased.

It looks to have been a very lightly used gun, so I put a few rounds through it to se what kind of things I'd like to swap. Here are some things I'm considering changing. I want a wider slide stop and a slightly bigger mag release. I'd also like to add 3 dot sights, or at the very least do a front dot to contrast the black rear.

The only other thing that bothers me slightly is when I take a comfortable grip, sometimes my right hand (shooting hand) is too high and doesn't engage the grip safety. Is there a fix for this, do they make a bigger one or one that requires less pressure to engage?

Other than that I could pretty much say it's perfect for me. Instead of modding it as soon as I bought it I picked up a handful of Kimber mags and a bunch of ammo and am trying to get familiar with it. I guess the real test is next Thursday night when I shoot at something other than paper for the first time in my life, got invited to a bowling pin shoot.

Here's a picture in accordance with the rules!!

Hope you enjoy it.

nice, bowling pin shooting is a blast; those suckers are tough and don't come apart to easy.

Any of the grip safeties with a bump on them would work.
They would need to be fitted.
