I read from ATF website that if you have an SBR and get rid of the short

bbl/upper that it goes back to stock? In the GT Class 3 thread-I can'tget in-

it says you have to put your info on the reciever. I never heard of that.

I just got the OK from the Chief from my city. Starting
paperwork.

Thanks

No, your SBR is an SBR until you remove it from the registry with an official letter to NFA branch. Its just not in SBR configuration anymore if you remove the upper and sell the barrel.

You have to engrave to NFA specs your name city and state on the receiver or barrel of the firearm.

R2kba,

Very nice. I have RRA 9mm AR with 16'BBL and looking to put
a RRA 10.5" bbl on it. I have a can that I want to put on the 10.5" I load
my own ammo and is very quiet. What brand of can do you have on yours?
Mine was done local. thanks

The upper is a gemtech talon and the can is the MM9 ( Multimount9 ) by gemtech also.

You can have your information put on the barrel for the SBR?

I think that would look way better on the barrel than it would on the receiver. I don't mean to insult anyboby.

On the AR15 platform put it on the receiver since the barrel is easily removed.

Check out orion arms for engraving options. Also IDENT inc.
