Glock 32 or 32C..? UPDATED w/ pics of new weapon

I have owned a G31c and really liked it. I am going to buy a 32 very soon and I am leaning towards the 32c. I have shot a 23 & 19 but not a 32 or 32c. As for the 31c I had, I can say the felt recoil was less than non-comped. Also, I found the G23 and 19 to have less felt recoil than the 22 & 17.

What say you?

Hi,
I recently bought the 32C, I wanted to reduce muzzle flip so I got the compensated version. It does reduce muzzle flip to practically nothing. This is subjective, but I beleive the 32C has far less muzzle flip than my G34 shooting mid velocity 9mm . I have a G33. I do not notice a large increase in recoil shooting the 33 over the 32C,the 32C is somewhat less noticeable, and it is a slightly heavier gun. (Shooting the 33 I notice less recoil than shooting a G27-dont know if this point of reference helps put this in perspective). The 32 C is much louder than the non compensated 33. I love my 32C. I would probably love the 32. I really like the glock compact series ( G19,G23, G32) pistols. (so much so that Im thinking of trading in my G27 for a G19) Ithink the 357 Sig is really accurate. It shoots way flatter than my G34. I dont beleive you give up much velocity in the compensated over the non compensated models. I read some chronograph results somewhere comparing comp over non comp and you lose 25-50 fps.

If you are going to shoot GSSF events, the compensated barrel limits what classes you can shoot in.
Hope these ramblings help

Me and some guys from work went shooting the other day and they had a 23 and 19. I noticed the 23 & 19 had less felt recoil than the full size versions. There is probably some geometric reason for this but the difference was apparent.

Thanks for your input. I will probably get the 32c and get a non-comped. barrel to shoot other GSSF classes.

i just bought a 32 barrel for my 23 and other than a little extra muzzle flash i didn't feel much difference in recoil. it may have been a little less.

well someone here posted a link showing the velocity drop in the 9mm glocks, ported vs. non, in all the sizes.
the G26 has more velocity than the G19c, now does this apply to sig?
IDK, most likely so.

then G32 would best your G31c in power/velocity... just food 4 thought.

Went and shot little over a 100 rounds today and the weapon functioned 100%.

In comparison to my 31C in regards to recoil; I would say they are very similar. I would even say the G32 is a little more controllable. This may seem somewhat counter-intuitive but I think the geometry of the G32 helps more in controlling recoil. I'm not an engineer but my perception in the difference between the G31C & G32 is very slight and edging in favor of the G32. And the 31C is much louder.

My 32 C is very loud too. This winter was shooting from under a tin roof with about three feet of snow on it, the first shot caused an avalanche
