i wonder if it would have been possible to make it into one receiver. kind of like a break action over under has the two firing pins in the receiver and uses the two (or one) triggers.

Hmmm....interesting concept none the less.

It'd be entirely possible to design such a gun, it'd just be heavy and cumbersome as hell. There's a double barrel bolt action rifle, do a google image search.

I was on a forum where the guy who built that posted (THR maybe?). I think he cut up a wooden baseball bat to make the pump handle.
