best ccw 10mm?

Looking for a small concealable 10mm. Does anyone make a single stack in a micro 1911 or other platform? I could convert an AMT like flyandscuba did, I'm a pretty good backyard gunsmith (built an AR that uses my G20 mags), but I would like to find a factory micro. I've carried my dad's ancient Junior Colt 25ACP most of my adult life, and don't want to go the .380 route, don't see that much of an advantage over the 25. Plus I don't want to keep up with another caliber. The G29 just isn't small enough for me.

Right now the G29 is it unless you take on the project yourself. I think there is a smaller sized Witness, but it isn't any smaller that the G29. That AMT backup of flyandscuba's is pretty interesting.

I can carry a G29SF with a Insight TL1 mounted on it inside the belt with a pair of shorts and a T-shirt or Poloshirt and running shoes on. ...and in fact, I've ran as far as 4 miles with this combo - does not print and at times I don't even know it's there!

I think a 29sf is a great choice. If you were to have a small 1911 built it would be very pricey. It would carry less ammo and be even heavier than the 29 unless you went alloy frame. To me, weight is more important than size.

If I were going 1911 for concealed carry I would go no smaller than commander sized for 10mm.

I carry the 29SF and it is comfortable and at present it is stoked with DT 125.

When I win the lotto, I am going to have a titanium 2011 commander sized chambered in 10mil.

are you a very small guy? i am pretty skinny and can easily conceal a glock 29. or is this something you are looking to maybe pocket carry?

I went and held a 29SF yesterday...will probably go that route..

I carry either pocket or ankle, sometimes in the small of the back...I'm in and out of a chair all day and drive a lot too, waist carry bothers me because of that..

Smart Carry will complely conceal a G20 and the G29 disapears no. Matter what you wear.

G29/G30 are both very comfortable iwb. I use a desantis cozy partner.

Wow you guys carrying G29's and G30's IWB must be pretty slim. My round self has a hard time carrying a Kimber Ultra CDP IWB comfortably even in a Supertuck.

I am quite hefty and can do it, it is all about the right clothes for the job.

FWIW, I've owned a couple different G29's but never a SF version. I went in and fondled the SF G29 a few times and I can tell you its QUITE a bit thinner than the standard grip G29. If I were to get another G29 there is no DOUBT I'd get the SF version. (I've noticed that the difference in the regular G20 and SF G20 isn't quite so noticeable, but the G29 difference is huge, at least to my hands).

Has anyone checked to see if a CZ 2075 in .40 could run 10mm? Looks like a good candidate.
