I like the Fiocchi 115-grain Extrema XTP ammo. Very accurate

I've used gold dots, federal 9BP, Fiocchi JHP, Hornady critical defense and maybe a few others in mine and all have fed fine. Use whatever you can get a deal on.

I have shot, 115 fmjs, 124+p GDs, and 147 HSTs. The GDs are a bit snappy. No failures w/ any ammo, but I have read others complain about the 147s. Good luck finding 147 HSTs if you go that route.

I carried the Hornady 147gr TAP ammo when I had mine. Never had any malfunctions with it or any other ammo I tried.

I run 127gr or lighter in my PF9. The PF9 was not designed nor built for 147gr ammo.

Mine eats anything I feed it...127gr or less.

Never fed anything but 115gr. hardball through mine. No problems with that ammo, but I never tried anything else.
Good guns, btw.

Right now I have 124g ranger T's in mine. My PF9 ate 50 of them with no problem.

What exactly does this mean?
I have shot 147HST and Ranger T through a friends PF-9 with no issues and very good accuracy.
