What are the most recent models in 9mm? Are the mk9 / k9 "older" guns? Then the pm9? When did the tp9 come out and why is a larger gun cost less money then a smaller one?

The tp9 by and large seems to be cheaper then the pm9 everywhere

I have both a TP9 and a PM9 and they both fit in the same holsters.
I bought the PM9 a few years ago and the TP9 maybe 8 months ago.

I didn't notice that the PM9 was more expensive. Supply and demand?
On the other hand I would never give up my TP9. It's a lot more fun to shoot and more accurate too.

linux, we gotta talk buddy ! can you compare the recoil between the two of them for me ? I'm sort of on the fence, I may just get both! haha. I have the 380 and LOVE how it shoots, I find it more fun to shoot then my emp 1911 (go figure!) I feel as though I can achieve a higher grip on striker-fired pistols for some reason, i had a walther PPS for while and loved it.

is the tp9 an older gun ?

The 9mm slides are the same thickness, but the steel frames of the MK, K and T series are thinner than the polymer frames of the PM, P and TP series. In leather holsters, this may or may not matter as leather adapts to the gun a little, but Kydex may be much less forgiving.

The TP9 has been out for several years, first as a shorter, 7 round mag sized grip, but now as the longer 8 round grip. That change was fairly recent.

Why are the smaller guns more expensive? Market demand, higher costs, who knows??

The current "Best Deal" is in the TP9 or the TP45 IMHO.
