Todd's recoil spring.
I was watching some videos on Todd Jarrett, and when he racks the slide it seems to take no effort what so ever, so I'm thinkin how light is his recoil spring

1. He is using somewhat lighter loads than factory, but still at the power factor 170 level.
2. Many competitive shooters use lighter recoil springs than factory.
3. Most competitive shooters practice a lot and have strong hands to make it LOOK easy.

i believe a lot of the guys are using 14lb recoil springs. I run an 11 in my G34 setup for USPSA and thats how it feels to rack. I have never had issues with failures but i still wouldnt trust the competition gun for carry.
