Reworked M19

Click the image to open in full size.

Got this from guy that left this in the trunk of his car, needless to say it rusted, the out side of the cylinder, part of the barrel and frame.

I reworked this revolver over with a lot sand paper dremel disc, and sanding drums, i was going to reblue it, but i went with Aluma hydeII, in OD green just too see how it would hold up. took about 6 months off and on.

So far after 3 years use, during hunting season, and shooting it, has held up well just wanted to share with pic.

Nice re-do! This revolver was in bad shape when the project was started.

It looks like a great resurrection, even a lot of TLC can still be worthwhile with guns like that.

When most of the custom revolver "projects" featured in gun mags and such are high dollar and impractical, its refreshing to see a working man's gun get a new lease on life.
