new 229

Disclaimer: Title is misleading should be 226, dyslexia kicked in when I made the title and i didnt realize it before posting.

Just picked up a new sig p226r e2 in .40 yesterday. The old grips were always a little too big for my small hands, but as for the new ones on the e2 all I can say is WOW. It fits the hand amazingly well and feels very well balanced.

Already ordered a .357 sig barrel for it from midwayusa as I personally really like that caliber. Hopefully going to hit the range with it tomorrow. My first full metal and da/sa handgun so I'm pretty excited for it. Pics to come soon.

Good job!

I love my P229, except for the gouging in the frame rail.

I hear it is an isolated issue, and the gun shoots so well.

Got to the range with the 226 yesterday. Put some .40 and .357 sig through it with zero malfunctions in either caliber.. Was very easy to manage in both calibers and I can't praise the SRT trigger enough.
