My brother just got a job with a local police dept and he is going to be issued a doublestar ar 15. he has to put on his own accessories if he wants any, so i thought about buying him a holographic sight. What do you suggest that i look into. I want a quality optic since he will be defending his life with it. no junk...thanks a lot...

What range will his most likely engagement ranges be at? Then choose either Aimpoint or Trijicon

probably somewhere between entering houses and maybe i would say at the most is 100 yards. . thanks for the help. I will check them out.
