P250 .40 cal bad extractor

Shortly after the p250 came on the market I purchased one in .40 cal. I actually read great reviews on the p250, yet I returned it to the factory to have the extractor replaced. Has anyone else had problems with failure to feed/extract? I wanted to carry this as a concealed weapon, but the problems remain in the back of my mind.

I would beat the death out of it for 500rds and then reevaluate . Hope it work for you , the p250 is a good feeling and shooting pistol. To add my father severed from 1956-1986 with the 1st , 2nd and 3rd divisions and still is a Gunnery Sergent . Thank you for your service .

Thanks rfd339, that's about what I have been doing to it. I'll give it a another try at the range this week. I have had no malfunctions since it was returned from the factory. Also thank your dad for me, guys like him paved the way for me. Semper Fi

Gunny,

If it were me, I would feel pretty confident in the fix from SIG. Every manufacturer has an issue every now and then. I bought a brand new G27 and had the recoil sping break after 75 rounds. Glock fixed it and it's been fine since. SIG is pretty good about getting it right.

Beat on it for a while, and if she holds up, carry with confidence.
