Gerber knives issue

Has anyone ever contacted Gerber regarding a problem with one of their knives?
I sent an email to their customer service address and received a response that they only handled sales.
They told me to contact the corporate office in Oregon.
I sent them several emails and have not received a response.
I bought one of their new finger hole folding blades.
It's a great looking knife and very sturdy.
It is very hard to open and I wanted to see if there is some adjustment to the knife.
Thank you for any assistance.

I've never had a reason to contact them. I own several Gerbers with no problems. If your knife is new, have you tried to oil the pivot point. Otherwise you could loosen the pivot slightly. If there is no screw slot or allen/ hex head it'e probably not adjustable.
