New G17 4th gen

I went to buy a 4th gen 19...they were out. But had one last 17, so I bought it. I already have a 3rd gen 19; still would like to check out the 4th.
I'll need to install extended mag and slide releases. I haven't dug into my 17 yet; are the innards basically the same? Any great trick to replacing releases with extended versions on the gen 4 models?

All the parts should change between the guns "unless" you have an older trigger bar. It seems GI has revised the Gen4 TB 3x now. Compare the 2 TB you have. If they are the same, swap without fear.
Remove the mag release the same as any other. Flip it over and reinstall. No big deal!
