9mm PDX1 124+P Weird Case Bulge

My box of PDX1 that I just bought has some weird case bulges right at the base of the seated bullet. Is this normal with 9mm loads? You can see and feel the outline of the bullet in the case. They all chamber fine, I dropped them in, they just look weird.

They seem to look just fine from the picture you posted.

yes, the outline of the seated bullet. normal, and it looks like the case is tapered there and you see a trace of case expansion. Many of my ammo in nickle cases looks this way.

I have the same exact boxes you do. Mine do that, I've fired over 50 at ranges with no problems at all. Feeds great, shoots accurately. I shoot a Glock 19 3rd gen, if that helps any as well..

This is coming out of a G17 Gen 2. I doubt there will be an issue. Just looked funny.

You ever chrono or expansion test that ammo from your 19?

First one the guy chrono's his G19 at 1190 FPS. Don't let the results discourage you, I think it can happen to any premium JHP. I'd take placement over an expanding HP any day. (even though it's obvious one would want both)
