Hi folks.

I haven't hunted since 1986, and never in PA. Deer hunting (bow and rifle) in both NC and NY.

I want to get back into it again, and have signed up to take the hunter ed course in a few weeks. Joined the local fish and game club and will start attending the meetings.

I was looking at the DNR site and could not find info on rifle hunting versus shotgun only regions. Does PA have different tiers like NY does?

Is there a link for the tier maps?

I haven't hunted PA in years, but when I did it was some of the best hunting I've ever experienced.
