Kobra Carry and Crimson Trace?

Why not?

All said in done, there is only a tiny opening left in the back. I am considering trying some Epoxy brand Plastic Weld to fill it in. Just need to order some in black. (Grabbed some at home depot, only to find out it was yellow! )

Any other suggestions for filling in the opening?

I'm just not a huge fan of lasers myself but if you like it that's all that matters. The only gun I might would put a laser on would be a snub noise revolver.

I have a feeling many here won't approve. Nice thing is though, I can undo it rather quickly.

I don't think CTG look good on any 1911, but it's your pistol and if you like it that's all that matters.

I dont advocate lasers, but as long as iron's training doesnt lack then they are just an addition to make you a better shooter. I just dont like relying on them because of battery issues. Also i do not think i shoot as fast with a laser because i find myself trying to track the laser and with irons i wait till im back on target which doesnt take very long and then i break the following shot.
I dont care what the gun looks like personally. A lot of people that buy semi-customs are not buying them to carry and use like they were intended for in the first place, so if your choosing to carry it, do whatever makes you feel more comfortable.
The apoxy will be your best bet to fill the void if it matters to you that much

Not my thing, but that's not my Kobra Carry so it's all good.

Sweet job, looks very nice. You could sell a few of those "conversions" I would think as CT on a Bobtail is a topic I have seen before on forums

Great job, I've often thought of doing that myself but never had the courage to cut that rubber/plastic.

Thanks. I just took my time and went real slow. It's plastic, so run the dremel on a low speed.
