Got to test out the 223 rounds today
Thanks to everyone that has been answering my questions regarding loading 223 lately. I think we finally have a handle on it.
It was beautiful in the local mountains today. Me and El_Nin0619 loaded until midnight last night and got up at 6 this morning to test out the rounds.
The all shot perfectly. Very accurate and no feed problems.
I took some pics. Enjoy

El_Nin0619 has decided that if he can't find a job soon he's going to go after osama bin laden for the bounty. He figures the best way to go about it would be to pose as a member of the taliban and infiltrate them from inside.

Congrats to you, sir...
Can I just point out that I've seen a shotgun barrel bulge out (a lot!) after it picked up snow in the barrel doing something similar to what you're doing in this pic (bore was obstructed, bird flew up.... ugly)? I know you don't have snow there, but mud could be worse. Something for your consideration.
Seriously, congratulations again. Now you're hooked for life.

I also tried out the mag i did a little work on this week. .Wish some of you guys lived closer, so we could have a little GT shooting Party

Hey, Abdul, or what ever you're calling yourself in those soon to be mug shots... how come you're shouldering a 12 and there's a 20 gauge hull at your feet?

Oh jack, That's because i live on planet earth and other people inhabit it also, and shot 20g .  As for the pants, they are hiking pants, maybe ones you should try out sometime and give your brain a little more circulation. As for Abdul, that's a good one  But 20 gauge just means more shot in the hull right?

Glad you guys got it worked out. Rifle is a bit more of a learning curve then pistol. Looks like you had some fun. Hope you didn't make the no fly list with that get up on.
