New addition.

Look what followed me home last week. Put 200 rounds of Federal FMJ through without a single hiccup (shocking, I know for HK) out of the box. Plan on using her as my EDC. Just picked up a Crossbreed ST and have a Sparks VM2 that will be here in Dec for comparison. Also have some flat baseplates in the mail and they should be here in a few days. Typical HK. Pull the trigger. Goes BANG every time.

Sorry for the crappy pics, but iPhone will have to do for now.

Sweet! I've been wanting to try out a P2000 and a P30 in 9mm. I already have a USPf 9mm and had a USPc in 9mm that I didn't care for much. I sold the compact and found one in .45acp instead. For some reason I just didn't shoot the 9mm as well as I did the .45acp guns.

Just had this built to take care of my .45 needs.

...although, once I pay this sucker off...I want a HK45c next.

I don't have a 1911 that nice, this is the only 1911 I have left now.

For carry in .45 I use this though. (ignore the miss)

Nice P2000. Congratulations.

I see you have a cartridge in the magazine backwards. I understand it's an HK joke. Can you elaborate on that?

It was the HK-USA catalog (pictured above). Some marketing dipsh1t loaded the mag backwards for the photoshoot and the catalogs went out at the '04 SHOT Show I believe. It was quickly noticed and replaced by HK, but the pics were already out. It's an HK inside joke now. Just another example how your HK will function flawlessly...no matter what.

Is the flashlight Fenix?

I have 2 each of Fenix LD10 and LD20. They're awesome. I need to sell my SureFire.

I love Fenix LD10. I have it on my belt all the time. Takes one AA, and is brighter than SureFire 6P LED I have. Also, it strobes...

Congrats! If they would ever come out with the damn 9mm P30S, I probably would have got that instead of the P2000. I still may at some point, if I don't get a P30L first.

These days I might be hard pressed to get a P2000 over a P30. I'm holding out for a P2000sk however...

any way you go though, it's all HK goodness!

What trigger config? Looks like LEM.

I love the P30, but the shorter grip and -$100 made it an easy decision for me.

It's a V3.

P30 also has NO Safety DA/SA models. One with a safety has a S designation: P30S.

http://www.topgunsupply.com/hk-p30-handguns/

Here's a P30 9mm DA/SA without a safety for sale (third from the top).

I have a P30S 40 cal, DA/SA with a decocker. When I carry, safety is off. I like the option of having a safety. With a safety, I can also cock and carry.
