act mags/novak/wolff/PSI/Nighthawk/ magazine cracking problem

Well I had heard the act mags had problems with feedlips spreading and cracking. While I cleaned my 1911PD tonite I found one of the feedlips cracked and spreading on the mag.

All the above companies are all the same magazine but with different stamps. This is a pretty new mag, and hasnt been dropped on hard surfaces etc so I guess the act mag problems arent over with yet. I was a big fan of them up until now since I hadnt had a problem with none of the 4 or 5 I own.

I haven't had any issues with them....have 8 or so. Not the hardest-use mags out there, but they have worked in all of my 1911s.

They are a cheap mag. They work for most, but the quality shows with (hard) use.
