IMR 4064 load

Loaded some hornady interlock 150 gr .308 with 43 grains of IMR4064 and shot a golfball close to 150 yrds away. My friend has been helping me load my first rifle loads and provided the rifle rest and it might not seem such a hard task to more seasoned shooters but man... it put a smile on my face!

We've been shooting pin pong balls filled with baby powder at 124 yrds and softballs as well, these are not first shots though. I'm going to take some vids and maybe youtube the videos.
I have a cheap BSA 4-12 mildot that needs adjusting every week I go shooting but the rifle is on the mark. Need to start saving for a leupold or nikon, maybe even a redfield.

Paintballs make great targets! I'll admit, harder to hit though!

I've had great success with 4064, in my .308 for about 10 yrs. 150gr. or 168gr. bullets, the gun doesn't care. It just shoots tiny groups all day long. My load is 44gr. with 150's 38gr. with 168's Happy blasting!

Thanks for 2nd on the IMR 4064. My Remi seems to run good w/ the powder. Paintballs huh... I'm not that cocky yet! But I'll try it at 50 yrds.
