Anyone here have a Personal Trainer certification?

I workout 5-6 days a week and keep in good shape. I have always thought about being a Personal Trainer and why not get certified. I was looking at the ACE certification. My buddy said it is the basic certification and you can obtain others after. Anyone else have opinions?

If I was going to get certified, the only one I'd get is from USAW.

I have ACE, CrossFit, and I am working on my CSCS. USAW is a great cert, but I feel it is a supplemental(as most clubs/gyms will not hire you with only the USAW). If you are wanting to work as a trainer, find one that is Accredited, they are the ones that will get you hired. If it is to just learn more, go with one that meets your interests or knwledge base. The better certifying agencies are ISSA, NSCA, ACE, and CrossFit, in my opinion.

I decided to start with ACE and then progress from there. Thanks
