GAP Ammo Comparison Pics
Here is a comparison of GAP ammo that I have.
From Left to Right:
1. Winchester USA 230gr JHP (USA45GJHP)
2. Winchester Ranger SXT 230gr JHP (RA45GT)
3. Speer Gold Dot 185gr GDHP (53977)
4. Winchester USA 230gr FMJ (USA45G)
5. Speer Lawman 185gr TMJ (53980)

Cool. I'll post a few other's I have tomorrow, such as Golden Sabre 230's, MagTech (unknown weight), WWB JHP, Gold Dot's in 200, American Eagle 230 fmj, HST 230, UMC 230 JHP and whatever else I can rummage up.

If you have a set of calipers, can you check the OAL on all those 230g samples? They clearly have a greater OAL than the 200g and 185g in the pic; I'm curious to see what the difference is and how close they are to the specs for OAL.

Yeah. I'll try to do that. Also, I just noticed that the 185gr Gold Dots have one less "petal" than the 200gr Gold Dots.

i didn't know that golden sabre makes the gap round? it's not listed on their website.

Yes, and it's their newest Bonded version.  I grabbed 500 at Natchez when they came out.

I just measured some Winchester USA 230gr JHP. They varied between 1.080 and 1.085, with the majority falling around 1.082. I've run 100rds of it through my 37 and it functions well and shoots straight.
