Running a 40 conversion barrel on a G20

I was thinking abot getting a 40 conversion barrel for my G20. Are there any feeding problems with 40s&w rounds in a magazine intended for 10mm? I was thinking about using my G20 for USPSA and don't want to chase my 10mm brass amongst all that 9mm and 40s&w.

No problems... I have one, and teach people to shoot with the .40 in it.

Works fine with .40 S&W and .357 Sig.

Thanks. I was worried that the extra length of the 10mm magazine would allow the 40S&W rounds to slide front-to-back and might cause feeding problems. I guess it is only 1/8th of an inch difference in case length, less than that in overall length.

I tried it, but the .40 S&W factory loadings I used would not fully push the slide back for reliable ejection. This, of course could be resolved with more potent .40 rounds or with a different guide rod spring. Just something to think about.
