Detroit woman shoots back at would-be carjackers

Pretty incredible story. Good reminder as to why being able to shoot with both hands and be able to access a gun(s) with both hands can save you life one day.

Why would you even still be in Detroit? 
I just had a recruiter solicit me for a machine tool job up there and I asked for a security bonus with an escort ... he could not stop laughing, I was serious.

You know that the population of Detroit shrunk by like 200,000 people in 10 years, right? Pretty much if we can get out we have or have plans to.
For some of us, those plans are just taking a little longer to put together. It doesn't help that my house is worth half of what I bought it for. When I move, I'm going to have to hold on to the house as a rental property. Fortunately my interest rate is very low, so I'll probably be able to find a renter that can pay enough rent to cover the mortgage payment.

Sometimes there is more to the story. Was it truly a carjacking, or was some boyfriend also in the car that may have been the target?
I would probably resist with force, but if tossing the keys was an option I might do that...especially if outnumbered & a rifle is in play.
