Rail mounted lights causing FTF's
Are all Generation 4 Glocks having problems with mounted rail lights and FTF's?
Or is it specific models and light combinations?
I've seen videos of G19's displaying this problem but wasn't sure if other models were suffering from this as well
thanks

Wow... this is news to me. I know Gen 3 G23's were known for this issue, but that was the only model in Gen 3. Now you're saying the G19 and others in the Gen 4 may have this issue?? I find it hard to believe Glock would produce another gun with this issue after the G23 of Gen 3 created so much discussion and concern.

I saw this video....

My apologies, it's not FTF's that is the problem, it's the slide dislodging from the bottom frame

the first comment response says the problem was the slide stop spring.
it also looks like the gun is working properly now according to other comments.

Not necessarily factory error.

Exactly, probably not factory error. Those slide locks are easy to put in backwards if you don't pay attention or don't know how to put them back in the right way. Make sure that notch is up and back.Otherwise, the barrel can't lock into it properly.

Hey guys. That's actually my video. Yes Glock fixed it and did say that some Glock 19s left the factory with the wrong spring. The serial numbers to look out for start with PPZ and were test fired late June 2010. HTH.

Thanks. My buddy Joe was filming me and did a great job on focusing on what needed to be done.

G22 Gen.4 w/TLR-1 tac light.
1675 rounds downrange so far 300 of them with the light mounted. Not a single malfunction of any type whatsoever. Most of the rounds are Wally-World Federal champ. 180gr fmj, with a couple of boxes of WWB 165 gr fmj and 50 rounds of Gold Dot 180 gr jhp. Not a single hiccup! I suppose if you used a coin or screwdriver to REALLY tighten down the light it might flex the rail enough to interfere with operation, but then I suppose if you plugged the barrel with a potato that might cause a glitch too!
