WTS: CCR Glock Plating Special Price 2 week turnaround
CCR Refinishing is offering our Cera-Plate which is an Electroless Nickel/ Boron Nitride plating on Glock slides for a limited time only at $79 Plus a 2 week turnaround time on Glock slides only (2 week turnaround applies only to Cera-Plate)
Cera-Hide is a proprietary finish formulated by CCR just for firearms. It is unlike those DIY products such as Duracoat and Cerakote that don't hold up to my standards of durability.
Cera-Hide is a thermally cured applied coating that has a nano ceramic infused matrix. It offers untold rust and corrosion protection along with being a self lubricating finish. It can be applied to all steels and alloys.
We also Mil spec Parkerize all carbon steel parts which provides an extra level of rust protection
Cera-Hide is available in Matte Black, House Black (a deep rich med luster) Stainless look, BTM ( similar to brushed nickel) OD Green,Dark Earth and our NEW Tri-Tanium color. Other colors maybe done on request

Cera-Plate is a true composite plating consisting of an Electroless Nickel/Boron Nitride bath
Cera-Plates benefits are
* Extremely low co-efficient of friction. Which greatly reduces wear on
sliding parts
* Boron Nitride offers great lubrication. The Boron Nitride is dispersed
throughout the plating exposing new lubrication
* Cera-Plate has a higher hardness then standard plating and a fantastic
Satin look
Cera-Plate will be available on Carbon Steels . We will not be plating Alloys such as Sig frames.

What does "untold" corrosion resistance mean? How does your coating perform on the mil-spec salt exposure test?

First off we Mil Spec Parkerize all carbon steel first then we apply our Cera-Hide finish which passes the Military 1000hr Salt water tests

How about doing the bolt on my new Kel-tec RFB?
Just picked it up 3 weeks ago and the bolt is nickel plated, but the nickel is flaking off.
Interested in seeing how this would work, i'm sure others would too.
Possible? If so how much?

Yes we can refinish your glock slide in FED but the cost is only $59
Stmcelroy
If your gun is only 3 weeks old I woukd sugest you cal Keltec the nickel peeling off should be coved under warranty.
