How's this for a grippy 1911?

Put my Shredders off of my GC NN on my TRP. I've actually been CC'ing it since I got home from work and it's not that bad...yet.

It's definately a grippy SOB. The 20lpi checkering on the TRP is more grating than the 15lpi on the GC NN. Looks pretty cool too IMO.

Thanks Brian. It definately gives it a different look and I', pretty set on leaving the black GC Alumagrips on my NN.

I am sorry but those grips don't do it for me. I don't know what it is but I don't like them at all. I like your TRP and HC NN just not these grips.

To be honest, I've never been much of a fan of them either, but decided to get a set with my NN just for the hell of it. I tried them on the NN and MUCH preferred the black Alumagrips. As a joke to myself, I thought about putting them on my TRP just to go overboard on the ultra grippiness and ended up actually liking the way they looked and felt. I thought I'd carry it like that to see what it was like and so far...

. I do think they would look better if they were all black instead of black/grey.

stupid question: That is SS correct? or does the light make the AK look like that?
