[Glock26z]

I have owned many Glock pistols but,never a G36. I would like to see on how they concral and what kind of holster would conceal it well enough. Pics that is. Thanks to all that reply. And,I only have one glock that I carry and have and that is a G17 afirst/second gen 17 that is my edc along with my revolvers.

For all practical purposes, the G36 is the same width as the G26 or the G19.
However, the G36 is sized right inbetween those other two models. It conceals better than the 19; not quite as well as the 26.

Here is the G26 sitting on top of the OD G36. The G19 would be about the same amount larger than the G36, in barrel and in grip length.

I carry both (not together), and actually find that the 36 carries slightly better than the 26. Guess the little extra length of bbl on the 36 doesn't seem to make any difference, while the little extra thin-ness of the grip does. Not much, though, either way. 19 is another story, though not difficult to conceal either.

I find the opposite to be true. G36 is noticeably larger.

Jwizz, guess for me the frame (grip) thickness makes more difference than the bbl/slide. I'd chalk it up to differences in build and carry method. To me, not enough difference to make a difference, anyway.

I do find that I want to carry a spare mag with the lower capacity of the 36 though, while I don't always with the 10+1 of the 26. That does make some difference.

heres a G36 next to a G26(by the way the skinny one is the G36),the G36 is a bit larger in length of grip but the thin frame makes it worthwhile for me at least

FJ, thanks for the time you spent posting the pics. the extra grip length i needed plus the thin grip of the 36 is the ideal way for me. I ilke the .45 now with my new 36 its going to be a great carry gun, thanks again,d

BTW, i held the 30sf and 36 side by side the decision was easy.

I have been carrying the 30sf as much a possible the last few days ,I just slipped the G36 back in my hip holster and realized how comfortable it is compared to the wider 30.
